How Does TSTC Automatic Revolving Door Avoid Pinching Person?

There are several methods below to make TSTC revolving door avoid pinching the person .They are Anti-pinch PDR, Force Sensitive Door Leaf, Torque Control System, Anti-collision Light Curtain .

1. Anti-pinch PDR . It's the detective sensor which assembled in the anti-pinch area of the revolving door , when someone walk into this area, the PDR will be triggered and send the signal to the control unit, then the control unit will send the signal to the inverter and make the motor stop rotating .

2. Force Sensitive Door Leaf . To the force sensitive door leaf, when someone walk into the revolving door and touch the door wing, the rotating of the door wing will be obstructed, which will make the electric current bigger than the normal value (bigger than the preset value), when the control unit found this abnormal situation, it will send the instruction to the inverter to let the inverter output the smaller electric current to the motor or stop the motor to ensure the safety of the people passing through .

3. Torque Control System . It's realized mainly by motor and control unit . 1st, we will preset a safety area for the revolving door, the area between the door wing and the fixed vertical door frame, then convert this area to the motor's position information . 2nd, we will develop the program to the PLC (like SIEMENS ,Panasonic brand), this program is related to the inverter, motor and electrical signal, when the door wing revolve into this safety area, the PLC will control the inverter to change the electric current to the smaller value, then the output torque of the motor will also become smaller. With the 2 steps above, when someone walk into this safety area, the driving force had already changed to smaller, which will not hurt the people .

4. Light Curtain . The light curtains are usually assembled on the door wings, and could play a role of anti-collision in most of time, however, if the person walk into the anti-pinch area, these light curtain could also reduce the door wings' speed or even make the door wings stop, to avoid the person being pinched .
