Balanced door is one type of swing doors, but it's different from the swing door. 

To the normal swing doors, they are conventional hinged doors require more force or strength to open, especially when the wind outside is stronger .

Balanced door is an optimal oversized door solution which uses the principles of aerodynamics and leverage, could make the swing door with hundreds of kilograms can be easily opened and closed, so it also called heavy-duty swing door or force saving swing door.

We could save much more force to open the balanced door than the traditional swing door, especially for the door body with big weight, and the weight of the balanced door can excess ground spring's max weight capacity for about  400 kg. 

Tothe Balanced Door, its special structure could use the differential of interior and exterior air pressure to facilitate opening of the door. The imposed forces, whether wind or stack draft suction, are balanced on each side of the pivot in a "see-saw" fashion.

There were 2 types to assemble the balanced door. One is snap on covers with no visible screws. The other is concealed closer arm and track linkage.

If you want to install a big door with big size and big weight but with smaller force, you can think about TSTC balanced door .
