The access-controlled revolving doors from TSTC based on the 3/4 wing revolving door with the model TAR300 and TAR600, assembled access control unit like card reader, password unit, fingerprint recognition, face recognition etc., they are designed to handle the demands of restricted access in one direction. These revolving doors are ideal for situations where the door needs to be open, but locked, or the door needs to be open without sacrificing climate control or increasing energy costs.

The access-controlled revolving door TAR300 /TAR600 creates an attractive highly secure entrance that controls access in two directions. An emergency break-away feature allows the door wings to swing open and create a clear evacuation path. By providing complete separation of the indoor and outdoor environments, this revolving door can help reduce noise as well heating or cooling costs.

An TSTC entrance system revolving doors with access control is perfect as a main or staff entrance, or as an entrance to a restricted area, because it can be programmed to allow authorised access while preventing unauthorised passage in one or two directions.

By providing complete separation of the indoor and outdoor environments, these revolving doors can help reduce noise as well heating and/or cooling costs. They are available in a variety of sizes to handle a range of passage needs. All three models can be ordered in several different configurations that can be combined to match virtually any building, and are designed to be placed directly on the finished floor surface with no special foundations required. A revolving door is "always closed" meaning air exchange is minimal. Not only make our indoor climate be safeguarded against unwanted air infiltration for the comfort of our visitors and staff, we could also spend less on heating and cooling of our building.

The most prominent feature of the revolving door access control system lies in its security, which is reflected in hierarchical access permission management. Such revolving doors configure access permissions based on personnel categories. Under normal conditions, the revolving door remains locked to bar entry and exit for unauthorized persons. Only authorized personnel can gain access via password input, card swiping, fingerprint verification, facial recognition and other means.

In addition, most revolving doors equipped with access control systems feature anti-tailgating functions. By means of infrared arrays, TOF vision, ground-sensor weight detection and other approaches to count persons inside the door compartment, the system allows only one person to pass per authorization. If multiple individuals are detected attempting entry simultaneously, an alarm will be triggered and the door will stop rotating, preventing unauthorized personnel from breaking in by tailgating.

General Working Procedure

1. Personnel arrive at the entrance of the revolving door and complete identity verification (card swiping / facial recognition / fingerprint scanning).

2. The access control controller validates permissions. For valid credentials, an unlock signal is sent to the main controller of the revolving door, access is denied for unauthorized users, and the door stays locked.

3. The revolving door releases its mechanical lock and starts rotating at low speed for personnel to enter the revolving door.

4. Anti-tailgating sensors detect occupants inside the compartment to ensure only one person is granted passage per authorization.

5. After personnel pass through and leave the door zone, the revolving door returns to its locked standby status.

6. All access events are uploaded to the backend for record keeping.

7. When regular visitors hold no access permission, the revolving door remains stationary and locked. It cannot be forced to rotate, achieving physical intrusion prevention.
